The Lapuan Kankurit PUNOS blanket is crafted from 100% wool and woven and finished in the company's own mills in Lapua. This product uses wool yarn spun from certified Wool Integrity NZ fiber, while the warp is made from South American wool fiber spun in Europe. 

Lapuan Kankurit emphasizes responsibility throughout the entire production process, from yarn to finished products. A significant portion of their production occurs in their own weaving mill in Lapua. For this specific product, they manage all aspects, including product development, material purchases, loom programming, design, warping, weaving, finishing, and fabric inspection, all performed at their Lapua facility.

Care: Only wash the textile if it is very dirty. Otherwise, take it outdoors to fresh air for a while. If washing, use hand wash at a maximum temperature of 86°F (30°C) or opt for dry cleaning. If using powder detergent, dissolve it in plenty of water first. Immerse the blanket in the solution and wash it immediately. Gently squeeze the fabric; do not scrub, stretch, or wring it out. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out most of the water. Press the blanket between towels until it is half-dry, then leave it to dry in a well-ventilated area. Do not tumble dry. If ironing, use a damp cloth and set the iron to a maximum temperature of 302°F (150°C)
