The Talkki knee-high socks are made from a cotton blend and showcase the iconic poppy flower from the classic Unikko pattern. The Unikko (poppy) design, which symbolizes creativity, emerged during a time when floral patterns were rarely included in Marimekko's collections. However, Maija Isola, inspired by the theme of flowers, chose to create an entire range of innovative floral prints.
